Balmain Fall/Winter 2016 collection showcased at Paris fashion week.

Ever since the first model, Kendall Jenner, stepped onto the runway you could clearly see this show was made for women with sumptuous curves.

Olivier Rousteing was all about slim-fitting silhouettes and pastel colors this year such as blush pink, aqua blue, icy grey and beige. And suede, oh that suede! We couldn’t see enough of it on the runway whether it’s the infamous Balmain thigh-high boots, corset tops, padded skirts, bodycon dresses, you name- they have it. But, he didn’t stop there. Metallic pieces that accentuate the waist paired with structured tops and dresses were all about Kardashians‘ most signature fashion silhouette: the hourglass.

These peplum tops, structured, bubble dresses and skirts reminded me of that Versace ‘09 collection.

Of course Balmain wouldn’t be what it is without those small accents pieces that scream luxury.

Thick, intricate beading, fur, feathers, cross-stitching and the fringe momentum, especially dresses with rich and playful tussels which were particularly impressive in motion and so much fun to watch. Beata Gliniecka (3) Beata Gliniecka (4)

Ruffles on see through trousers that resemble lingerie were central part of the show as well. Silk was also big part of the collection, which sealed this trend for next year, as most of the other designers already did.
With the fashion supermodel scene crème de la crème, Mr. Rousteing didn’t surprise much, but he did create another social media boom by putting his girls in wigs, swapping hair colors and styles between each other. Beata Gliniecka (5) Beata Gliniecka (6)

The most impressive changes were those seen on Lily Donaldson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley , Kendall and Gigi.

Exactly this move drew attention to the new trend in hair central parting and natural, nude make up.
